The Windows 10 MS Solitaire is all very well except for the ads but it is just too fancy and large-footprint to quickly jump in and out of while waiting for something to run or for a phone call on hold. And the new Minesweeper is so overdesigned that I simply cannot play it; it took me two years to finally win one game at the expert level.. Last time I looked for these old programs online a couple of years ago they were absolutely not available; Microsoft was prohibiting and even actively suppressing any such attempt, in order to promote its new advertisers.
